Suzi’s Secrets #5: Samhain…

Samhain, pronounced SAH-WEEN, celebrates the traditional end of the harvest. It is accompanied by a thinning of the energetic veil. In lore, it’s the time that the Sun God takes his leave of his Moon Goddess' until they meet again on the winter’s solstice. This is why the days grow shorter and the night’s longer. This is also the reason the veil thins on this night.

With the thinning of the veil, Samhain is a great time to work magic, perform rituals, channel, dreamtime, astral projections among other things. Everyone has a different way to commemorate this holiday. 

Every year, I take my kids trick -or- treating and then later pull cards. This year we’re going trick-or-treating as per usual. But in addition, I’ll create a prosperity bowl and pull a card for my Patreon members. (Join Here)

Anyone interested in creating a prosperity bowl this year, here’s how I’m building this one…

Prosperity Bowl:

4 white candles (green or purple would work as well)

Glass (Clay, or metal would also work) bowl

Moon Water

Crystals: Rose Quartz, Moldevite, Pyrite (use any other crystals that call to you for this)

Herbs: Bay Leaves (use any other herbs that your intuition calls to you)

Rose petals

If you need/want to, sage your alter space. Place the 4 candles at the cardinal points, putting the bowl in the middle. On the bay leaves, write your financial desires. Put them in the bowl. Put the rose petals in the bowl. Using your intuition, place the crystals around the bowl, but within the circle. Once you have everything in place, light the candles. Let them burn out.
